Marvel Comics G.I.Joe Issues 43, 51, 55, 56 and 63
Aug 30th
Currently up for auction on eBay we have 5 great back issues of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero. The issues run from January 1986 thru December 1987. Most of the issues are in great condition with no rips, tears or discolored pages, however #55, the famous unmasked issue, has some flaws.
Issue 43, there are no creases, tears or ripped pages. The bottom right corner on the front was bent a bit, but not much. The internal pages are great color & quality. The spine, edges and 3 other corners are all very sharp. Great overall comic.
Issue 51 has no creases, tears or ripped pages. The internal pages are great color & quality. The spine, edges and corners are all very sharp. Great overall comic. Issue 56 has no crease or ripped pages. The front bottom right corner has a very small 1/16th little knick in it making it not sharp. The spine, is very sharp and the edges are good as well. The other 3 corners are sharp.
Issue 62 has a few flaws but is in good condition for the most part. The front right top corner looks to have been bent at one time. It is not currently creased, but you can tell it was bent. The back top left corner looks to have the same type of bend. The spine, is very sharp and the edges are good as well. The other 3 corners are sharp.
Issue 55 is not is great condition. There is red marker writing across the top edge. the corners are a bit bent and there are some noticeable creases on both the front and back covers. The front edges are not the best, but they are not ripped. The edges on the back show signs of wear. The spine shows signs of use as well. The internal pages are nice with no tears or creases. The color & quality are good as well. Overall not great,
BUT A MUST READ!

This is an awesome Silver Age copy of the Strange Tales #151 Dec. 1966 from Marvel Comics Group. In this issue, Dr. Strange vs. UMAR, the sister of Dormammu and Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D battles Hydra. Of course you get the full cast of Nick Fury characters and all the great Dr. Strange villains to keep you on the edge of your seat.
There are no rips, tears, writing or discolored pages. The back page is great, the front page has a small knick on the top center, but is not very noticeable at all. There are no crease marks anywhere and the comic has been stored in a plastic sleeve with backer board making it very flat and in great condition. There is a number written on the top in the center, I believe from the distributor (913) In addition, right below the purple banner at the top in the center there is a small light colored mark. The comic itself is in very good condition as the spine is really good and the corners are sharp. The pages are very, very minimally yellowed and the coloring on the pages is very good for its age. Overall, I think it’s in great condition for a 1966 comic.
Overstreet book value in this condition is around $60.

There are no rips, tears, writing or discolored pages. The back page is great, the front page has a small knick on the bottom center, but is not very noticeable at all. There is a crease mark on the top right corner, however it is not a big deal and the comic has been stored in a plastic sleeve with backer board making it very flat and not bent. The comic itself is in good condition as the spine is pretty good and the corners are sharp. The pages are very, very minimally yellowed and the coloring on the pages is very nice for its age. Overall, I think it’s in great condition for a 1972 comic.

There are no rips, tears, writing or discolored pages. The back page has a crease on the bottom left corner, but has been stored flat and the page is not bent. There is a little stain on the front cover in the blue burst on the word Skywalker and to the right of that there is a smal 1/2 diagonal line on the bottom of the “W” in the word wars. The comic itself is in fine condition as the spine is pretty good and the corners are fairly sharp. The pages are very minimally yellowed and the coloring on the pages is very nice.
