This is an awesome Bronze Age copy of the Sub-Mariner #52 Aug. 1972 from Marvel Comics Group. In this issue, the Sub-Mariner battles Sunfire, the Atomic Samurai. Namor and Nomorita attempt to save the world from a misguided Sunfire who is being brainwashed by the evil Dragon Lord
There are no rips, tears, writing or discolored pages. The back page is great, the front page has a small knick on the bottom center, but is not very noticeable at all. There is a crease mark on the top right corner, however it is not a big deal and the comic has been stored in a plastic sleeve with backer board making it very flat and not bent. The comic itself is in good condition as the spine is pretty good and the corners are sharp. The pages are very, very minimally yellowed and the coloring on the pages is very nice for its age. Overall, I think it’s in great condition for a 1972 comic.

There are no rips, tears, writing or discolored pages. The back page has a crease on the bottom left corner, but has been stored flat and the page is not bent. There is a little stain on the front cover in the blue burst on the word Skywalker and to the right of that there is a smal 1/2 diagonal line on the bottom of the “W” in the word wars. The comic itself is in fine condition as the spine is pretty good and the corners are fairly sharp. The pages are very minimally yellowed and the coloring on the pages is very nice.

Steve McNair Farrah Fawcett Ed McMahon Michael Jackson – RIP
Jul 5th
Well it looks like I could not get any comments from my Michael Jackson posting so I guess not too many people read my blog. I did not know Steve McNair, nor did I ever see him play football live and he did not influence my life in any way. But, just like Michael Jackson, he was a very passionate football player and played hurt all the time. He did some great things on the field and seemed like he was a pretty good guy off the field.
I have to admit, while watching ESPNews yesterday, I got chills watching the news coverage. My arm hairs were standing up on end and that did not happen while I watched the coverage of Jackson or Ed McMahon or Farrah Fawcett. I guess my passions run in the sporting world and not so much the entertainment or music worlds.
What I do know is that all of thos people will be missed and all contributed to the world in their own particular way. Again where I am not saddened by their deaths, I can understand how some others are affected and would be sad. It is a shame to lose high profile people just as it is a shame to lose close family members.
I am thinking I need to do one of to things. I should either blog more about anything and everything, or I should just stick to posting things that are for sale. I guess I will try both and see which works best for me. If you do read this, please register and post a comment or follow me on twitter or on facebook.

My Personal Opinion on the Death of Michael Jackson
Jun 26th
I know what is going to happen now, the media is going to play this up and have tributes all over the place. His songs are going to be overplayed on the radio as well as satellite. I even heard American Idol is going to replay the top 13 show that had all of his songs on it.
The point of my rant is to not make such a big deal out of a celebrity’s death. Everyone dies, deal with it.
